We’re actually back in NYC today (in gorgeous weather, I might add), but have so many more photos of the trip to share. I guess you can say it was a true vacation in the sense that I hardly missed my computer at all. One of our favorite evenings was taking an after dinner walk on the Avon Pier for sunset. The light was phenomenal.
the avon pier looks amazing! long and wavy. those waves passing right underneath the dock look kind of scary to me. :-X the girls are brave!

Wonderful pics – the lighting is indeed amazing. Love the one with the surfers particularly.
These really make me miss the OBX. Did the girls ever catch any sand fleas or tiny crabs? I agree the houses are huge. The ones I always laugh at are Boardwalk and Park Place houses which are side by side on the beach. They look like they could sleep 10 families.
