Yes. It really did snow on Saturday. The abnormal weather in a year of freakish weather continues, so why not snow in October? I don’t even think they were forecasting any snow here in the city – and the brunt of it was up north where over a foot of snow fell and millions of people lost power – but the flakes started coming down late morning. When we woke up Sunday, however, it was pretty much gone.

I know you east coast Americans are going to hate me for this but … it’s so pretty! I live in a warm area and haven’t seen snow for around 15 years. I just remember how crunchy and dry it was underfoot.

Too early for me. I prefer my snow in December and January. We lucked out and only had a couple mornings with a hard frost. Glad to see that you and yours made the most of the occasion and got outside.

Climate changes ?
Yes, I live in a small Western Mass hilltown and we got over 2 feet! Still a bunch on the ground for trick or treating tonight..
Only 27 days until my daughter and I are coming to NY from Australia – but who’s counting? We are already checking the daily weather forecast 
and were surprised to see snow! Looks like your kids (big one included), enjoyed venturing out in it.
Crazy mother nature needs to get her sh*t together and make up her mind. I want my summer back!
Yes! We got it, too, up here in Maine! It was so absurd to see snow piling up on leaves + green grass! What a strange Halloween…

Snow this morning here too! Some years we get our massive dump of snow early…Alberta, especially Calgary, is notorious for that. It already looks like it has melted away though…from what I can see up here on the 19 floor of my office tower. 
O.M.G. We haven’t seen snow in Toronto yet…and hope it stays that way until closer to Christmas!! Happy Halloween to you and the kids!
At least you guys have snow. All we’ve had in Miami is days and days of rain. Last night, the power went out in our block too!

“I’m dreaming of white…Halloween.” Wait, that’s not how it goes. We were building snowmen one day, trick or treating the next! Definitely something’s out of sorts.

No kidding. My kids were in snow heaven, though. But Sunday morning I was in a panic because one of my van doors was iced shut…tried opening it (stupid) I won’t go into the rest of my noisey story. hahah
