And now…for the first time ever…Miss C’s entry into the annual posting of unflattering, but truly awesome school photos, yay!!
And it’s been awhile, but random quotes!
Claudine: “I had 4 things touching my butt today: underwear, leggings, a leotard and this bench.”
Mia: “I’m full, but I want a taste in my mouth. That’s what I mean when I say I’m hungry sometimes.”
Claudine: “I want to be alive for a ton of days. But when you’re 100 you don’t have a birthday because you’re dead.”
Me: “Are you going to have kids?”
Claudine: “No. Because they are too whiny.”
Claudine: “Are you going to have another kid when Mia, daddy and me die?”
Claudine: “I want to be an artist but I don’t want move to France. I don’t want to speak another language. I have to move to France because Frances is my middle name.”
Mia: “Then move to Canada. You want to live near me?”
Claudine: “Can I move with you?”
Mia: “I’m moving to Hawaii.”
Claudine: “Oh. me too!”
Mia: “It’s nice there. And there are parties everyday.”
Claudine: Whenever I sleep with Blanky, it feels like Tobi’s fur and I feel like I’m petting him.”
Mia: “When I live in Hawaii when I get older, I’m going to adopt 6 cats. Their names will be Fluffy, Cutie, Cuddle, Smooch, Fuzz and Flop.”
Me: “Do you want to grow your hair long?”
Claudine: “Yes, but if it wasn’t for my big fat head, it’d be perfect.”

Oh, that is too delicious! The girls are just gorgeous and growing up so fast. Please tell Claudine that she does not have a ‘big, fat head’, although it does make me laugh!

I can’t even snark the backgrounds, because both are better than the class photo we just got for Baguette–it’s the shape of a plane, with the class in the passenger/cargo area and your child cropped into the cockpit. Because we totally missed the original ordering period and got Baguette’s individual photo taken on the makeup day, the photographer Photoshopped her into the class photo.
Except she was there for the class photo, so it contains two Baguettes, one looking over the other one’s shoulder.

Your kids are my favourite online-kids-I don’t-really-know. They are so incredibly cute and these quotes are hilarious. Recently my sister took her grandson to see the Muppet movie. He was not very impressed. At one point he stood up and said loudly “Can someone please turn on the lights?”

I love these quotes! I had to read several of them to my husband…while he was working…I just couldn’t stop.
Oh my, do they actually try to take the most unflattering photo possible? Those are terrible. The bright side is at least you won’t have to pay for those overpriced class photos.

I always try to dress my boys in the loudest possible outfits for picture day, for maximum impact. Our school also gives the kids a *bonus* t-shirt with their own school portrait on there. Because, doesn’t everyone wear a t-shirt with a picture of themself on it?
These backgrounds are so awesome! I have never seen them. They are so unique. I am so glad I read this before heading to bed. Now I can sleep well with huge smiles on my face. I always love your girls’ conversations. They make me feel so content and also make me happy.

Oh, I do look forward to this post every year. I can’t believe in all of NY, they can’t find better photographers! Ours take the kids outside, so the lighting is nature and put funny stuffed animals on their heads so the smiles are natural.
But if you did have good photographers then all your readers wouldn’t get a good laugh. Luckily you take beautiful photos of your children.
