New this weekend: Mango Lassi Popsicles

Got a new flavor of fudgesicles/popsicles debuting at the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene this Saturday – Mango Lassi and man, is it deeeelicious! So if you’re in town you should head over and give one of these a try. We’ll have our other 2 flavors there too, Chocolate Curry and Thai Iced Tea.
So…how has this little experiment been selling over the 6 weeks? They are starting to gain traction, but we need to get the word out to more people. We’re going to stick with it all summer and early Fall, though. We believe in these little pops! And it also might help that we’ve decided to be more consistent and stay at the Flea in Fort Greene the rest of the summer rather than bouncing around from this location to the one in Williamsburg. Most of our kitchenmates abandoned Ft. Greene in favor of Smorgasborg, but the original location will always be a special place for us and Mark enjoys the vibe here a little bit more. Plus Ft. Greene needs food too!
Update: Oh no! Electrical fires and brownouts in Sunset Park means our commercial kitchen has no power and all our fudgesicles and popsicles melted. We’ll have a limited number of Mango Lassi popsicles only at the Flea tomorrow, not any of the other flavors

Ahhh, these look INCREDIBLE. I love mango lassi and can’t get enough of it in liquid form, so I’m sure I’d adore these.
I looooove mango anything, but mango lassi is definitely a favorite thai drink of mine. Hope they do well for you.
mango lassis are my favorite summertime treat. Just made my first one of the season last monday! thai iced tea (or even a vietnamese iced coffee!!) popsicle is definitely something I would buy.
This is the moment I wish I had taste-o-vision. Those look scrumptious.
As a former 10 yr. resident of Fort Greene, I’m glad to hear it
And those popsicles look freaking amazing!
Holy. They look so delicious!
Make sure to bring these in your carry on for our summer meet up!
Sounds uh-MAZING!!!
I have a mango lassi at least once a week. I highly recommending incorporating them into diets. These pops sound incredible. Thai ice tea!!
Sounds so good!
Seems like a good call to stay consistent at Fort Greene… Smorgasburg has so many options and it seems like People’s Pops and Kelvin get so much of the hype. I’d imagine the Fort Greene Flea people would be more excited about the pops. And I bet you can build more of a “following” if you stay consistent.
Just thoughts as a BK resident and casual observer of course.
I tried the chocolate curry last week and it was seriously delicious. It was like a creamy fudgesicle with a kick. I had a popsicle from People’s Pops right before but I was left unsatisfied and then I spotted your stand. You guys should make a bigger sign for those because the mix of flavors were really spot on!
@Elle – so good to hear! It’s good to get feedback. I really love these fudgesicles and I think it’s only a matter of people knowing about it which is why we are sticking with it. Needs times, maybe to get traction. I know a bigger sign would help. Looking at some options…Thank you!
Oh goodness, those look amazing. I wonder if it’s possible to get shikae to taste good in popsicle form…
i love mango anything but what is the ‘lassi’ part of it? i’ve never heard of that? time to google.
oh! looks delicious, bet my baby will want to share, yum! Good luck dealing with the outages, what a bummer- at least the storms mean it’ll be a little cooler tomorrow..
Oh no! So sorry to hear about the electrical fires & melted popsicles.
My sister and I make it a point to visit Brooklyn every summer (we’re originally from Washington DC). We will definitely have to try your pops next time we go!
