Something new in this year’s Mother’s Day gift box

April 26, 2017 |  Category:   art + design the biz

I’ve been drawing more lately and it’s always been a goal to try and integrate a bit more of what I do into our business. There’s the product photography and food styling, of course, but when we were thinking of this year’s Mother’s Day gift box it seemed like a perfect opportunity to introduce some artwork into our product line. So we’re happy to announce that with this year’s Mother’s Day gift box, we are including a 5×7″ greeting card featuring an original botanical illustration. This is the latest in a series of pen and ink drawings I’ve been working on. It’s printed on 100% rag fine art paper and I’m so pleased with how it turned out as a printed card. We’ll even handwrite your note inside the card free of charge 🙂 The Mother’s Day gift box is available both on our site and in our Etsy shop and also features a new look. We’re gradually rebranding this year so we’ll be rolling new designs out hopefully throughout the year.

If you haven’t signed up for our newsletter on our shop, we share sale codes exclusive to subscribers, but I’ll share the code here which is still valid until tomorrow, April 27th. Use code MOMLOVE15 (only available on our website).

Gosh that’s stunning. To me it looks tangled and wind-blown, and I love that.

Hello Jenna, i’m a long time readers and i just notice than you come to my hometown!! I saw photos that was just nearby my house!!! Next time, i would love to give you some tips about Quebec city and what activities to do with your kids. In summer, there’s so many outdoor activities in the city. This year, it would be wonderful with new outdoor circus show (Quebec was the first city where the Cirque du Soleil began) and the music festival in july. You can do a lot of biking in the city with kids… and take the ferry to Levis and continue nearby the St-Laurence River. For bakery, the bests one are in st-joseph street ( Croquembouche, Boîte à pain) One in Crémazie street nearby a very good bagel factory and another in your way north ( 20 minutes from dowtown) Pascal le Boulanger!!! Hope you visit us again!

    Very best,

Hi Clara! Yes, we had a great time, though it was cold! I imagine it would be quite bustling in the summertime. Thank you so much for your recommendations. We’ll save them for another trip 🙂
