Valentine’s Day: a trip to the Whitney to catch the last weekend of the Alexander Calder circus exhibit, which was very timely since Mia was learning about him at school. Couldn’t take any photos, but it was fun to be at an art museum for the first time since Claudine’s been able to walk and talk. Since we were on the Upper East Side, we had lunch at the Central Park Boathouse. Mia misses coming here, but since Mark has been consulting here once a week since last summer, it isn’t weird to come in and eat. The restaurant is still beautiful, even in the dead of winter, when the rest of the park is brown and dead. The weather forecasts a return to winter this week. I’m still sick and patiently awaiting spring…
Your family is so beautiful. I think it more and more with every post.
Your girls are adorable and now I’m hungry from your wonderful photos … Hope you’re feeling better!!!

Gabriel, did you go to cooper union? did we talk about this? I remember another reader mentioned she went to cooper, but it was a few years after me. ’91, she would have been a year ahead of me.

hope you feel better soon. time to catch up on those zzz’s…
Your girls are BEAUTIFUL. Just out of curiosity, what were the 3 flavors of ice cream? I’ve become an ice cream making fool here in the middle of Norway- in February, no less! As always, great photos.
Hi Siri, the flavors were classic: vanilla, chocolate and caramel. worked out well as Claudine loves chocolate and Mia loves vanilla. I liked the caramel.
