Last time we were in LA was 6 years ago when Mia was still a baby. It was a family trip with my parents to visit my brother who had moved out to California around that time. My aunt came on that trip too to visit her daughter, my cousin, who was the closest thing to a sister I had growing up. Fun times. We’re looking forward to our trip. Mia wants to see the Hollywood sign and take a picture of Michael Jackson’s star. See you on the other side!
I just love old photos – this photo is timeless, you could have told us it was from when you were a baby. I adore the way you see the World through your lens.
Hooray, I’m in LA, have fun while you’re here! Can’t wait to see some pretty photos =]
I am a reluctant resident of LA, a New Yorker by birth, temperment and personality, but even I can say that February and March are great months to visit. The sun is plentiful and wonderful. have a great time. we finally rode on the bike path on the santa monica beach and it is wonderful, especially at sunset. I think you can rent bikes without too much trouble! Can’t wait to hear what you do…my kids need some new ideas.
Have fun!!! Don’t work too much (pleeeeease) and enjoy the sunshine. 🙂
Soak up some sunshine for the rest of us, relax and laugh like you just discovered laughter.
Have a wonderful vacation! Sun and ocean.
Hi there,
I moved to LA from the East coast. There are lots of great things to do outdoors in LA: Griffith Park Observatory, the Getty, Getty Villa – all so beautiful and good for families!
Enjoy!
Angela
LA gets such a bad rep sometimes from East Coasters but I hope you have a wonderful time here since it’s been a while since your last visit! There are surely many things to do and great restaurants as well! This weeks weather should be great after Tuesday.
Well the sun’s not out today, but it should be pretty warm by the end of the week. Hope you guys have a great time here!
We need more pictures of Mia as a baby!
Those chubby little legs are amazing!
Recognized you from afar at work at the Getty today! I wanted to let you know how much i adored your blog and your beautiful family but missed the chance as you stepped onto the tram. Hope you enjoyed the Getty and enjoy the rest of your vacation!
I hope you have a wonderful time! I just returned from the West Coast (San Francisco) a few days ago, missing it so much! The Midwest is nowhere near as fun as a coastal city. Sigh!
@Alice wow, that is so funny you recognized us. What a coincidence!
