The houses for rent here on the Outer Banks are huge. There are wrap around terraces on every floor connecting the first floor to the top like scaffolding. Our house had 6 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and it was the perfect house to lounge around and make big communal family meals in. More to come…

    I grew up in NC but have been living in Los Angeles. These pictures perfectly sum up my summers growing up. I would love to be there right now, sticky heat and mosquitoes and all!

    yes, they are the best rentals! we had a family get together on the OB a few years back and it was ideal for several families with small kids. can’t wait to get back there 🙂

    Oh man, these photos are taking me BACK. We always rented a huge house in Corolla, and those large homes and family meals were so fun.
