What a strange week. Lots going on in the way of good byes, end of the year activities for the girls and meetings for me. Sounds busy, right? It was, but I felt so out of sorts much of the time, unmotivated. Trying to make some decisions about summer and wasn’t really successful coming to any clear plan. Met with my biz ladies group last night and maybe that’s what I needed – to be among friends. I guess it had been awhile since I’ve hung out with friends. I felt a bit like my old self again. Oh, and one last thing? Forgot how much of a fidgeter I am. See all that candle wax up there? Totally a fidgeter’s paradise.
Your photographs are truly such an inspiration. They’ve made me look at taking photographs in an entirely different way. Now I just need to ditch my pink little point and shoot and get something I can really have fun with. Thanks:)
Yes, I agree the pictures are so intimate yet they revealed a group of people that could be meeting anywhere.
Also, I am curious, what is the name of the cd or book on the table?
Thank you friends. @Ines, that book is one our group made for a friend who is moving.
Hi Jenna,
I was wondering if you are playing Bingo or if that is a business exercise your group is doing…. Love the photos, especially the strawberries at the bottom of the glass!
@cynthia it was a handout, though I kinda like the idea of bingo!
hi jenna,
just wondering where the photobook is from? absolutely love your blog!!
grinning as i read your last sentence. i’m a total fidgeter too, and have a distinct affinity for melted candle wax!
I have not plans! Still trying to figure something out.
Happy Weekend

Just found your blog and totally in love with it!
Who makes these mugs or cups in the pictures? They are beautiful!
I must comment on your blog! It is by far my favorite “mum” blog. Your daughters are so beautiful, your photos are delightful to the eye and your baked goods and other food posts are just to die for! If only I lived in the states I would definitely order some. I live in Kenya, and have a 10month old son, also mixed race 🙂 thanks for your blog!
