We’re excited to be a part of this event this coming Saturday, December 13th with the likes of Lotta Jansdotter, Perch!, Mast Brothers Chocolates, Hable Construction and many more talented designers. There will be live music and some food, all in a new venue called the Bell House at 149 7th Street between 2nd and 3rd ave in Brooklyn NY. Hours are between 11am-5pm. If you’re in NY, please stop by!
sounds like a really fun one! how many units is that? 🙂
haha, I think that might be 8!
by the way jenna, how do you feel about restaurants these days serving tiny portions? I looked at your blur entry and saw a pic of a desert with a few red dots next to it. these days, restaurants serving 2-3 bites on big plates and a few artistic swishes here and there are all the rage. you like them?
Hopping on a plane to come see you in person and buy lots of whimsy and spice this weekend. OK, not really. But I want to! Instead, I’ll continue to rest in my happy place until your shop returns. xo
Oh great!! Sounds fantastic. Wish I could come and see you there.
I would kill to be there! The whole Santa on a Surfboard thing is not cutting it for me. I could live in Australia the rest of my life and I think I will always be grinchy about it :). Good luck. Oh yeah, I am digging Mia’s hair lately.
Joni,
I guess I don’t give it much thought. OK, honestly? We don’t eat out much and these days, rarely ever order desserts when they do, so I haven’t noticed if portion sizes have gotten smaller. I did notice that the desserts have gone up to $10 a plate when we had our business lunch, which is what I am guessing is the case here in NY. The last time I ordered a proper dessert in a proper restaurant it seemed like it was still $8, so yeah, $10 seems like a lot. Maybe a better response would be from Mark since he used to create and plate those kind of desserts.
carolyn, I wish you can be here too. yeah, I went back to the bob the girls had 2 years ago. I think it really fits here. Pema’s hair got longer though!
wish we could have made it, hope it went well!
