the holiday season, a new cookie and a sale

November 29, 2015 |  Category:   holidays the biz

Hope your Thanksgiving was filled with family, food and laughter. Ours was! But now that the long weekend is over, I can start to think about Christmas (no overlapping of holidays allowed in our house!). To celebrate the season, Small Biz Saturday, Cyber Monday and all that jazz, we’ve been having a sale all weekend (and if you haven’t signed up for our newsletter, please consider doing so because we have exclusive sales only for our newsletter subscribers). Use code SMALLBIZSAT for 15% off everything on our website, good till the end of the day Monday, so there’s still time.

Also on the biz front, we have a new cookie just for the holidays. Classic, crunchy chocolate chip cookies with both milk and white chocolate chunks get a generous festive sprinkling of crushed peppermint candy canes. These cookies were actually created as a PR promotion for the release of the holiday movie, Love the Coopers, and we hope you enjoy them.

And finally, Miss C and I took a loooooong walk the evening before Thanksgiving, just the two of us. With the mild weather and holiday lights up in full display all over the city, we just kept walking, starting from the Museum of Natural History where we saw the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons to Rockefeller Center. You can see some of the holiday sparkle, which I lived streamed, right here on Katch.

Thanks for the Klatch video. I loved seeing the windows through your lens and also hearing your voice! Hope to take my young ones there sometime.

Thanks for watching Sora. Yes, you should come down some christmas if you can deal with the crowds. I must say, it wasn’t too bad the evening before Thanksgiving.
