First day of April. Rainy, a little wet snow, confused. I’m feeling a bit out of sorts like the weather. Work schedules not going exactly as planned which in one sense is a relief, but in another, frustrating. I *am*, however, working on the first phase of a project right now that is exciting and it’s for this client to clean up this website. Other than that I am trying to roll with the freelance punches like always.

I really enjoyed taking photos of the kitchen this week. It got me thinking that I really like documentary-style photography as opposed to stylizing food shots which I find to be quite laborious and finicky (have to take more this weekend). In the new photos I didn’t go for crystal clear, high gloss product images. I was more interested in capturing a mood. But the kitchen photo shoot has me thinking about a photo project that I’d like to do. I need more time though…only more time.

Oh. I’m so excited for you to do Storm King! It’s one of my favorite places, and I’m sure you’re one of the few people who could do it justice. Can’t wait to see it.

And what was that weather yesterday?! Solvi and I went to Whole Foods where outside the door they had two things: grass seed and fire wood! (I wish I’d had my camera!) Make up your mind Mo. Nat.
