Something in the air yesterday. Had at least 3 friends declare they wanted to give up. But no, don’t give up. Wait, let me amend that – give up for the right reasons, not the wrong reasons. There are actually a bunch of good reasons to give up, like if you’ve outgrown something or feel stagnant in a situation. I guess it’s also called moving on, but don’t give up because of frustration.
Have a great weekend. The forecast looks grand and we’re going to spend as much of it outdoors as we can, including the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Because those blossoms that are lighting up the city right now will soon be gone too.
My sentiments exactly. Moving on, going forward, tending toward a different direction, but don’t give up.
Hope you enjoy those blooms! We are all done with cherry blossoms out here. I think they burst forth in February. Sigh.
xo
I needed to see this Jenna! Have fun at the cherry blossom festival 🙂 ~ ours came at Easter time..
This word of encouragement make me feel so alive
I couldn’t agree more – you never want to just “give up”, but you have to listen to your intuition too. Sometimes something is just not working or its that time to move on to the next thing.
sometimes you’ll stroll around pages and blogs, with no intention at all. maybe to escape, a bit. and then, suddenly there are those words popping up. exactly the words you have needed. thank you for that.
thank you jenna.
It’s 12:30am, and I’m taking a mental breather from editing a paper I have to submit for class tomorrow.. I’m three classes away from graduating but it seems so (sooooo) far away and exhausting.
I decided to browse through my blog list and stumbled upon your recent update. I think someone is telling me not to give up and keep chuggin along.
Thanks for this Jenna.
Well said.
