I know, more cookie photos. how boring.

But no, you don’t understand, ’cause that’s all I’ve been doing lately, taking photos of cookies. And marshmallows. And more cookies. Because you know how when you fix one thing and then put it back with the old things, it just makes the older stuff look like crap? Yeah, that. Well it was clear from the beginning that the new photos wouldn’t work with the old ones, partly because of scale as I took the early product shots with a macro setting on my point and shoot camera. Soooo…I’ve been retaking photos of our products and editing and cropping and then uploading all this new content on our new website (which should launch in about 10 or so days), and after it’s all up and done, I never want to take pictures of cookies again.

But look, I even took photos of all the packaging because it’s nice to be able to see how your products will come shipped to you (ok, maybe it’s because I don’t want to have to answer any more questions about how the cookies and marshmallows come packaged), and I was finally able to get decent photos where the cellophane isn’t all crinkly and reflective and weird. Don’t say we never cared.

Love cookie pictures! and now I know what some of them taste like 🙂
So a few weeks back Mark posted about Kumquats (which I had never heard of before), and they looked delicious. Today my roommate offered if I wanted to try some, she told me to put them in my mouth and just eat them (as in with the skin and everything), it tasted HORRIBLE!! I’ve never had something so sower in my life! is that how you are supposed to eat them? or are you supposed to peel them and boil them in sugar?

You totally nailed these. I love every one of them – those cookies are definitely screaming “eat me,” which can only be good for business. 😉

…Oh one can never tire of looking at photos of cookies! Never! :o)

…Can I ask who does your labels? I am about to embark upon selling my homemade coleslaw dressing in an effort to save our old barn and have been working on a label but would like to know if you did yours yourself or hired someone… Thanks.

    …Wonderful photos!

    …Blessings… :o)

Hi Jenna, Nice pictures! Yes, taking pictures of cellophane and aluminum is hard, but you did a great job with it.
