We don’t usually get so affected by jet lag when we go out to our annual Seattle trips, but for some reason the evenings here in LA have been tough to get through. I thought that since my usual bedtime is at 2am New York time I’d have a fine transition and actually get to a normal bedtime here, but I guess it doesn’t work that way. So instead, the bit of work that I had planned to do in the evenings gave way to early bedtimes and 5:30am wake up times the first couple of days.
We’re having such a good time. The girls are really enjoying themselves and love being with my 2 cousins. Venice, which is where one of my cousins live, has been a great place to stay with the girls.
So many more photos to come…
I get worse jet-lag out in LA than anywhere else out west and I have no idea why. I blame the balmy weather. Hope you’re catching up though.
mia is stylin’ in the 3rd pic from the bottom! love it =)
so glad you’re getting some vaca!
Glad you guys having a good time. And the matching ponchos are way too cute!
You arrived at a perfect time — summery weather right now!
Fantastic! Looks amazing to me!!
We just went on a trip too and it is funny how the body gets all confused. My youngest son that sleeps through the night at home spent 10 days waking up in the middle of the night! Vacation is great, but jet leg spoils some of the fun!
Beautiful fun! I live in LA, but these photos make me want to venture out to the beach, have lunch, buy sunglasses and lots of jars of honey.
Loving the choices of shades for the girls. Cuties.
So glad you get to be with family and friends! And it’s even better when you’re in a sunny spot like L.A
We had that problem this summer in Washington DC…usually if we travel from California to the East Coast we are able to adapt to the time change. This time we stayed on Pacific time our whole trip which meant waking up at 10:30 am and by the time we all showered and left it was time for lunch! The bonus is that the kids stayed up until 8 and we were able to enjoy the cooler evenings.
Oops, totally was on auto pilot, the kids stayed up until 11 ET and 8 PT!!
So cute! Love the pictures of your girls considering sunglasses, then wearing their choices a few shots later!
Very cute! Red pant and square ish sunglasses are very in style. Sounds all are a having wonderful time in L.A. I cannot wait to hear more about from this trip.
You’re in my neighborhood!!! Enjoy!! Let me know if you have any questions:)

I can’t wait to visit Venice beach/LA (my hometown as well) for my spring break! I’m glad your girls are getting a true californian experience with a mother who knows how to document it all!
May I ask where you went for the delicious looking meal featured in your 4th photo from the top??
@Jane, that was at French Market Cafe
