Always a sign that Spring is here. Official today. But it actually has been feeling like summer with 70 degrees temps. It’s pretty crazy. A bit disorienting maybe, but nobody’s really complaining. I’m still in the trenches in terms of work. I’m starting to think I need to rethink some things…priorities…what to eliminate in my life. It’s been on my mind a lot lately – balance, age, health, nostalgia. Hopefully I’ll have time to write about it soon.
When it comes to flowers I find myself debating over and over again between magnolias and peonies. Those flowers have a poetic beauty.
magnolias, particularly those blooming against the grit of the city, have been especially lovely this year. hoping they bloom for a while longer, before philly’s humidity sweeps in and we’re in full-on summer!
I love flowers. They definitely tell a season.
wow, so gorgeous. two tone flowers are like heaven on earth. just live in the moment jenna.
so beautiful 😀
Aaaaannnnd….over here in the Pac NW, well it was 39 degrees and sideways raining the other day. Miserable. Raw. I feel like I am experiencing Spring only online right now…Thanks Jenna fro giving me some Spring!
uh, that should be “FOR” giving me Spring…:)
I love your magnolias – here, always. Wishing our weather was more spring-like.
I hear you about age-related priority shifts. Looking forward to reading your reflections along those lines.
I can almost smell them, so beautiful!
Another blogger just wrote about prioritizing, after reading this article: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203358704577237603853394654.html.
I think it’s a great one!
Beautiful flowers!
I know that feeling of being in the trenches. Sometimes I find it a bit suffocating. Anyway, I hope you’re getting some form of rest in between everything.
Love those magnolias. Such a perfect shade of pink.

beautiful pictures, our’s aren’t out yet, it’s been cold here. I’ve been thinking of priorities too, likely reducing work a bit to have time for creative pursuits. Thanks again Jenna.
Jenna- these photos are gorgeous, especially the second one! Please oh please sell it in your print shop :).
