We’ll be leaving this scene behind for a few weeks. I think it’s really interesting that each city has its own identifiable personality. You can look at this photo and know that it’s New York. Maybe the cabs are the giveaway here, but even without the cabs I bet you would be able to tell that it’s NYC.
We’re really looking forward to a change in scenery and to be surrounded by different cityscapes (and nature!) for awhile. An unexpected stressful medical issue with one of the kids made the last few days crazy as we’ve been dealing with that non-stop, but things feel a bit under control now and we’re all starting to feel a little more relaxed. Parenting is always full of (sometimes nasty) surprises.
It’s vacation time. See you on the west coast.
I hope that you guys enjoy your vacation away 🙂
Have a wonderful time!
Wish you welll and have a save trip!!!!! see you soon!!!!
We went to Seattle for the first time last August and just completely fell in love. I can’t wait to live vicariously through your adventures – I’ll get to day dream about trips back and perhaps moving there one day. Thank you so much for keeping up your posts while you’re there! Have fun!
enjoy! ugh, hate it when your baby gets sick. had to take my daughter to the dr.’s again on our vacation. fortunately it wasn’t an emergency or urgent care visit and she’s fine now but just adds another level of stress!
Have a great time!….my husband just got a job in the Seattle area so hopefully we’ll be moved in there by the end of the year (we have a house here on the east coast to sell)…..we’re so excited! Maybe we’ll get to visit the same places as you.I enjoy your vacation photos and now I may get to see these places in real life…very exciting! Anyways, hope your daughter is feeling better now and can enjoy the trip.
Have a very good vacation, Jenna! Hope no more medical issues will come up.
I’ve been loving your blog from the Netherlands already for awhile and now we moved to New York for my job, and I’m really looking forward to stopping by your tent to say hello at one of the next fairs.
Sounds lovely…enjoy yourselves! x
PS hope the kiddos ok
