The hour right after sunset until darkness falls is magic. My favorite time of day by far, made even more magical by a bonfire on the beach roasting marshmallows.
It’s Monday and it’s hard to get back into the swing of things, I must admit. Still have vacation brain and the end of the school year has snuck up on me. I am not at all prepared for when the kids are out of school.
PS. Thank you for the anniversary wishes, friends.
That’s the finest fire pit I’ve ever seen.
Beautiful! Beach envy!!:)
@terri, i agree! I had nothing to do with it.
…It would be hard to get rid of vacation brain after an evening such as that – gorgeous!
…And I agree with the comment above me, that is one fine fire pit! :o)
…Blessings…
Jenna I absolutely love the first photo of the beach houses and pink sky! It looks like you had a truly magical vacation.
It is winter here and I am hanging out for some warm weather and the beach. Only 19 days, but whose counting :), until we go to Fiji.
Your photos put me in a peaceful mood. It makes me want to have a campfire and roast some morsels with some friends.
definitely my favorite time of day as well…magical, indeed! (happy belated anniversary too!)

I simply adore that first photo, and the last is just lovely too.
The first photo reminds me of Rene Magritte’s day and night paintings. Beautiful.
