Feeling weirdly deflated and sad today. What the hell is this? Post storm crash? Pre-holiday craziness blues? Well, whatever it is, I’m sure it will pass.

Hope you feel better soon!
blurgh. me too.
Same here. After a crazy two weeks where NOTHING was normal thanks to Sandy, no school, freak snow storm, I spent today in total MEH land. No idea why.
It’s so weird that the holidays are approaching. I am hosting Thanksgiving last week and haven’t even really thought about it. Totally bizarre year.
So sorry you had to cancel your trip. 🙁
hope you feel better soon! maybe listen to some upbeat music? play the piano? take a long walk? 🙂
Barometric pressure? It’s always a mystery to me. Meanwhile, that adorable Miss C is doing her thing. Love the last photo…”I love my Mom”

i am totally blaming astrology for my bad mood these two days. i hope you snap out of it. do share your thoughts for dealing with them.
You know what I really enjoy about your blog? I enjoy that you don’t insist on keeping it upbeat and perky, like I feel so many blogs out there do. I appreciate it, even if it’s just a few words like on this post. Deflated and sad are okay. I might have said all of this in a past comment already, but I’m going to say it again. Yay for realness.
Jenna, love the contemplative look and wall art. You have such a wonderful way of capturing the unique events in NYC that you and your family enjoy — thanks for sharing. I hope you enjoy a little breather before the pre-holiday madness ensues! Hang in there. Thanks again for your wonderful photos and blog, you brighten many people’s days. Your blog is one of the first things I look for in the morning madness.
