A good day, that is. And that’s what we got on Sunday. Caught up with orders, client deadline done and designs ready to send off Monday morning, and a leisurely day in the neighborhood bumping into friends and neighbors. A typical Brooklyn weekend: a visit to the Children’s Museum in the morning (ok, that is not really typical for us), bagels for lunch, a romp through the leaves, some fruit purchased at the farmer’s market and a few hours spent at the playground in the park. The weather was mild after Saturday’s stormy weather and the leaves were blazing with the peak of Fallness. Everyone in the neighborhood seemed to be out taking advantage of the lovely warm day because y’all know that the nice days are numbered. The darkness that falls so early at 5pm is testament enough that winter is nipping at our heels.
I feel unusually calm these days despite the crazy work schedule ahead and the complete unknown after the holidays. I didn’t even freak out during the Great Site Crash of 2009. Wonder what’s going on…
You have grown stronger, perhaps 🙂 what doesnt kill us, makes us stronger!
I love Claudine’s top. Can you tell me what brand it is? As usual, the girls are gorgeous.
Hi, Jenna, I’m Marta and I have been a fan of your blog for a while. It’s fascinating to read your words (I also have my own company, quite different in profile, but the struggles remain similar) and follow your photos (so beautiful!). Just wanted to let you know I linked to you on my photo blog to make sure I am up to date :). Greetings to you and your family – and I hope the feeling of calm will not leave you!
You’re growing up? :] I find myself calmer in my older years.
sounds like my kind of sunday
quyen, C’s top is from Zara kids. $12 or thereabouts. who can argue with that?
Yay for good days!
I’m actually very conscious of a lot I could freak out over but am not. Yet? Maybe it’s something in the air keeping a calm.
great news about the site being back up and the ability to keep your cool.
I’m very glad your site is back up + running!
I love Mia’s boots + Claudine’s top.
Yeah there’s always something that’s unknown…
