Hope you’re having a nice weekend. I want to thank Joslyn from Simple Lovely for inviting me to write about my favorite things over on her wonderful blog on Friday. Thank you!
We seem to all be heading into a cold. Mia is definitely not feeling well and has turned into bed early. We are all sorta headachey.
I am feeling overall optimistic about things ever since I wrote my last blog post about the freelance rollercoaster. Writing here has been like that – a space where I can get it out and then begin to let go. But today I learned something about someone that I never wanted to hear and I don’t know how to process it. It’s like one giant step back in this life-long process of forgiveness and healing and all of a sudden I am back to a place I don’t want to be.
I am going to try to sleep tonight. Insomnia was pretty bad this week.
rest well, and perhaps you will feel better tomorrow…
Well, that IS a shitty day, Jenna. So sorry. I am sending peaceful sleep vibes and immunity boosting juju your way.
Hope you sleep well. Tomorrow is a new day.
I sometimes do lament that we can’t ‘unknow’ things.
All you can do is go forward. I do hope you feel better after getting some decent sleep.
Jenna, since I’m Greek, I have a suggestion for your insomnia. Take Greek lessons. When you’re in bed you’ll be reviewing your verbs, vocabulary and pronounciation. The Greek language is structured in a way that has to do with logic. As a matter of fact I have an article on that, that explains all this. Greek philosophy is magical, too. Just the word “philosophy” is a combination of two words “philo” which means friend and “sophy” or “sophia”(the actual word is philosophia) which means wisdom. You’ll be amazed!
what a lovely photo! Nice textures…
Please take care and eat well and get better!
Oh Jenna I’m sorry. Hope the weekend has helped. xo
I suffer form insomnia too! I can;t get my brain to shut up!
im trying the greek lessons, I guess.
Jenna, feel better.
