We don’t take on a lot of wholesale accounts – it’s too much for Mark to handle (until we expand that is) but we were very happy to add Radish to our list of retailers earlier this year. Radish is located on Bedford and N7th in Williamsburg (yay, bringing brownies and hazelnut whisky sandwiches to that neighborhood for the first time) and recently opened a few months ago. The small space is charming and packed with all sorts of prepared foods and provisions. If you’re in the neighborhood, make sure to drop by for a visit.

We don’t usually accompany Mark on his deliveries, but I haven’t been to Williamsburg in years (I know! And oh my, how it’s changed in a few years) so we all decided to tag along. I wanted to check out the shop and we had lunch at a new spot called Cafe Colette on Berry and N9th. We didn’t have time to walk over and hang out at the waterfront, one of my favorite spots in the city, but we’ll save that for next time. I’m hoping to come back soon when it’s not so hot and we can actually enjoy being outside. I hear that the temps are going to go back down to normal next week, hovering in the mid-80s. With what we’ve had lately, it’s almost going to feel like Fall.

I find myself peeking in on your site almost each day. I’m not sure if it’s the fantastic photography, the adorable kids, or the delectable treats, or my missing NYC…but I’m here so often.

    …Beautiful place.
Is i bad that every time I see a restaurant, cafe or bakery I envision my house looking just like that?

This shop looks a-ma-zing! Wow! We have nothing like that at all over here in Amsterdam… of course you’re not looking for a business opportunity overseas but maybe one day…? 😉
Is a place like this a model of what your dreamshop would look like?

Congratulations! That looks like a gorgeous shop. It’s actually right in our old neighborhood…we were on Bedford and S. 5th. Ohhh dear…photos like that make me miss everything.

Thanks so much for posting photos of this darling store! I have been considering opening a shop similar to this kind for a while ( kind of what you have discussed in some of your posts), and I love seeing what others have done as far as decor and the kinds of items they carry.
Also, I’m dying to get up to the Brooklyn Flea some Saturday. Could you please tell me if you’re there every Saturday? I’d hate to go all that way and miss seeing you. Thanks

Hi Susan, We are not at the Flea every weekend, more like every other weekend. We always post our flea dates in the sidebar of the blog and also under “news” in the about section of our website. We’ll be there this saturday and again on the August 7th. That will be it for summer since we will be away the latter half of August. Hope you can make it to the Flea sometime!
