Oh, did you think we were done with vacation photos? I have a few more posts lined up, if you don’t mind. Nothing much is going on back here in NY anyway except I’m still trying to get my bearings on jumping back into the swing of things. Summer is most definitely here, though.
So…these crazy colored houses. During our stay we joked that the house we were renting was like an M.C. Escher house because the house was all stairwells in the back and front off the exterior porches on every level. The kids would run down one side of the house and disappear and I’d have no idea which end of the house they’d end up in, and I’d go down one staircase and end up in a place I wasn’t expecting. I’m not used to multi-level living like this, but we all did get a workout going up and down 3 flight of stairs all day long.
PS. thanks friends, for alerting me to the Australian Sunday paper write up we were in. I got a scanned copy and it’s quite possibly the greatest piece of press we have every gotten. Not really sure whose life they’re talking about, but I want it.
Love these photos, keep ’em comin’… for those of us not getting any real vacay this summer they serve a worthy cause!
wow, that aqua house is stunning.
These pictures are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Keep the vacation pics coming, they’re awesome Congrats on the press!
I am one of those Aussies who read about you in my Sunday paper!
Love the photos! Oz write up so funny. Think Oscar Wilde sums it up well…“The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” Accuracy is an overrated feature : )
I am also one of the Aussies who read about you in my sunday paper. I used to live in Brooklyn myself. Your pics are beautiful.
really beautiful! I want to live in one of those 🙂
I am now a follower of your blog after the Sydney morning herald write up last weekend! Love the holiday snaps…
Wow, those houses look amazing. Your photography is beautiful as always. I love how you can see the movement of the grass…
It’s so different from Belgium sea front… I love these houses !
Those houses are amazing! They’re huge!! And the colours are just lovely. I’ve never lived in anything larger than a 2 bedroom apartment (or anything that wasn’t grey or built from concrete, for that matter…), so these houses are like something out of a dream!
wow….these shots are fabulous. What a lovely vacation!
Love the vacation photographs. I saw the press on your blog on twitter and thought it was so funny!
Now that is the life!

Can I ask where you stayed? What city and where you rented from? I’d love to do what you guys did some day with family. We have eight adults and seven kids (currently). Thanks!
@Sherry, I didn’t do the reserving but we stayed in Avon and the realty company was Sound or Surf.
i want one of these houses. wow oh wow..
Beautiful!!
