starting to look like spring but it’s back to winter

Hard to believe we were at the beach last weekend. Oh March, you just had to remind us that you are fickle, didn’t you? It’s cold again. 40 degrees. Winter coats + scarves + hats. But looking at the forecast for this week and I see that it’ll be 70 degrees again by Thursday so it’s just a little cold blip in the weather.

We took a walk through the Union Square Farmers Market today. Lots of flowers out.

After being completely fed up with my hair last night, I got a haircut today after 7 long months. Its not drastically different or anything – a few inches shorter with shorter bangs – but I need to wash it and let it dry before making any assessments. I sort of hate what they do at the salon – put all this product in your hair, style and blow dry it in a way that I would never replicate at home.

I’ve been really tired lately and not functioning so well on 5 hours of sleep every night, but I have this design problem to solve for a monday deadline. I just want to go to sleep.

There are a few things worrying me today.

Mmm I’d love to have a room full of tulips now, just to make it seem more spring’ier! The weather blip has hit me too, it’s been raining here for 2 days straight and last night I think there was a storm….Grim and depressing weather which means you can either spend your day at the pc blogging, reading blogs, watching movies or read a book. Too bad I don’t have any books to read 🙁

We’re experiencing the same thing! We thought it felt like summer and then since this past Friday, it’s been quite chilly here in DC as well. Love tulips. Your skill of photography make everything look gorgeous. I am thinking about getting a hair cut soon, too, but I’ll probably ask to cut just a bit. It’s so true that when you go to a hair dresser, you’ll walk out with a vogue look that you can’t replicate at home!

I’m always so happy with my hair when they do it at the salon but then I get home and I’m like “oh damn” 🙂 Great pics!
