You know, they’re like an adult version of an oreo with a white chocolate filling. As soon as we tasted the earl grey hearts that went into our Valentine’s Day box, we knew that we had to try them as a sandwich cookie. They made their debut at the Pop-up Flea in Dumbo last Sunday and sold out with quite a few people coming back to purchase more. We’ve been dragging our feet with getting them into our shops, and I still would like to get better photos of them, but thought we’d put up a sneak peek. Look for them this week!
Almost forgot! Our feature as Snack of the Day airs on the Rachael Ray show tomorrow, March 3rd.
Oh my, I can’t wait.
Rushed right over to the shop site to order, but I guess I have to wait to order….
Yum. Can’t wait.
those look really really good. will definitely have to hunt down a pack for some serious tasting. and as usual i am having a brownie craving!
I’ve been trying to be “good” and not buy anything we really don’t need due to the economic pinch we’re feeling but these may just be the thing to push me over the edge! We celebrated my birthday in NYC in January ’08 and ate at Red Cat for my b-day meal [it was phenomenal!] They served me a chocolate cake with early grey ice cream and the combo was seriously TO DIE FOR! Nothing has come close to that combo since but it sounds like your new cookie is just what the proverbial doctor ordered 🙂
Thanks for the head’s up on your “snack of the day” – I’m headed to set up Tivo now. Congrats!!
I won’t have tv then (cancelling cable today due to the fact that it has become a luxery that we can no longer afford) but if i did i’d watch that. congrats!
By the way, those look completely delicious. I wish you were in Canada lol
will you guys be at the flea next sunday? hope these cookies are there – can’t wait to try them.
speaking of oreos – have you ever tried the icebox cake from billy’s? no hype – it’s the real deal. so good…
Gabriel, Mark will be there on sunday and will have them, sold loosely at a special Flea Market price. I haven’t tried the icebox cake. Oh and thanks for the tip on the children’s museum in SI.
OMG! They look amazing. I have to try these when I get back. You guys rock.
How good do these look? I can’t believe I discovered you after I left Brooklyn! I’m going to have to take the twins into the city one day soon to visit the Brooklyn Flea. (Maybe go to the Empire Fulton State Park afterwords… our favorite hang out last summer)
looking forward to receiving my treats later this week.
xo
those look so yummy! wish i had one right now!
ooooh yummy!
yay for getting featured on Rachael Ray! I’ll look to see if I can find it online tomorrow night! So exciting!
The Earl Grey cookies look delicious! I will definately be tuning in to Rachel Ray tomorrow for the Snack of the Day! Congratulations! I just moved to a small apartment (with no oven to bake with!) in New York last year from a much larger apartment with lots of room and an oven for baking in Houston. I love living here, but I miss my oven! Looking at these cookies makes me long for the day when I can take up baking again!
Yummmmmmmmm!!!
+ I’m not even normally into sandwich cookies. But looking at + reading about these are making me drool…
Oh, these look amazing, I am eagerly awaiting the debut of these cookies in your shop!! Congrats on your Rachel Ray feature!
woh. that sounds awesome. must get some!
How exciting!!! I’m wishing energy and ability to pull many all nighters to both of you – you’re going to take off with this kind of exposure!
p.s., looking forward to trying these – look DELISH
Sweeeeeet! I think you guys are officially superstars now:)
Yum-o! Congrats! Your cookies look good, too bad you are so far away.
LOL Jenna you’ve created a monster with these cookies ^_^ I have been fortunate to sample these delicious morsels and yes, they are very tasty. You will most definitely eat thru a package of them very quickly so order 2 at a time if you can 😆
I’d still be thrilled with the normal Earl Grey cookies, they are just as delicious. You could just make a whole LINE of tea cookies, rooibos, oolong, green tea, etc etc lol
So yummy looking! Annndd the torture continues! 😉
Congratulations on the RR feature!
so, yeah, sometimes I watch Rachael Ray… Congratulations on the feature, I just saw it on TV!
🙂
ok guys, that was so short. You could have missed it if you blinked. Thanks for all the support, though!
It was very cool to watch RR compliment your treats! (I blinked — still saw it..;) ) I’m betting many folks turn to her website just to see “Snack of the Day”.. Congrats!!
Btw, your new sandwich cookies look sooooo good!
watched RR this morning just so i could beam about your cookies. congrats.
