long night ahead, and tomorrow the Flea

We’re like a packaging assembly line again, but we hope we’re not up too late. There’s still much to do as all the lavender cookies need to be baked all over again. For some reason the cookies came out thicker than usual, so they were harder to pack. Each batch seem to come out slightly different and it’s frustrating. I mean I know that most people wouldn’t really know the difference, especially if they are seeing them for the first time, but somehow, the thicker shape makes them seem more dense and less refined. I also know that I am super picky about things, and apparently this extends beyond design and into food. I wish I cared less as that would make my life easier, but these are the things that keep me up at night.

I think I’m also just tired. I didn’t get such a break from work this week as some issues came up so I didn’t get as much done for the biz as I would have hoped. Next week is crazy as I start 4 (5?) new projects. (Tina, you need to knock some sense into me as clearly your advice to just say no isn’t sinking in).

nice seeing you yesterday! when i went back for the chocolate orange cardamom cookies (delicious by the way), mark said you had left. I’m still deciding my schedule for the flea but hopefully we’ll cross paths in a few weeks!
