new

October 8, 2010 |  Category:   art + design the biz

I’ve been working on a few new things. These kitchen conversion posters, for one. If you like them, you can get them here (oh yeah…that shop. I kinda forgot about it too).
And if I get it together, they will also be turned into kitchen towels.

These posters are 13×19. Would they be useful in 8×10?

There’s also a blue version in the shop. What other colors would you like to see them in?

Love these and especially the black/white one. I would also like it with beige background/black letters with a border in red or some other bright color that you can see when it’s framed.

You have designed something truly fantastic – I love the simplicity and the practicality!

    These are SO cool.

Also – tea towels – yes please! I like to give books as gifts, and keep a stack of washed vintage dishtowels around to used to wrap the books. I think its called furoshiki (?) wrapping. These would be so fantastic for all those cooking / canning / home gardening/ eatin’ local books that everyone’s getting (and wanting) for the holidays.

I am holding out for the towels … what a great idea that is, and a perfect gift for friends who like to cook.

I personally don’t have free wall space in my kitchen, so a towel would be the only way i could appreciate (and use!) this work.

  • Kristen October 13, 2010 at 12:56 pm

These are awesome! Would make great gifts too since the holidays are coming up. I wish I had more wall space in my kitchen. But the dish towels, I always have room for those!

OMG. Jenna, I love this. Esp since I can NEVER remember my conversions and am always having to flip to the back of the recipe book, only to have the whole thing spring shut and lose both my places!! Great for kids cooking too (as you no doubt planned). Can I feature on BabyG, or is that a conflict of interest.

LOVE them & would love tea towels as well. Choc brown with cream/just off-white would be beautiful.
